Many couples are currently looking for their wedding photographers. Selecting the best-fit photographer for your wedding can be overwhelming. Not only will they be by your side in an extremely personal and collaborative way, but their photographs will be shared with your loved ones for a lifetime. Hoping to help couples with this important decision, I wrote this article for Inside Weddings.
Amy and Matt's Fourth Presbyterian Church and The Drake's Gold Coast Room wedding is featured on Carats & Cake.
Enjoying Chicago and having fun with their friends and family was a top priority for Amy and Matt. The couple spent time with their bridal party before the ceremony, which turned into a private party full of siblings, close friends and lots of laughter.
Jaime and Bryan's wedding is featured in the Winter 2015 issue of Inside Weddings.
Bryan did not take his eyes off of Jaime all day long. His smile said it all. Bryan was crazy about Jaime and couldn't be more excited about marrying her. I love how they rarely left each others side through out the day. They were inseparable. Bryan says it best, "Enjoy the wedding weekend, just as we did. It doesn't need to be stressful. If you and your bride are having fun, then everyone at the wedding will have a good time, too."
Their wedding day was full of color, Chicago history, and lots of celebration. Close friends and family helped Brooke get ready in the breathtaking Princess Diana Suite at The Drake Hotel. The wedding party enjoyed the same beautiful views of Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan that many dignitaries have experienced in this historical suite over the years.
Carrie and Josh's sophisticated Chicago wedding is now featured in Style Me Pretty.
Their wedding was the epitome of chic elegance. The Waldorf Astoria Chicago was the perfect blend of Paris and Chicago. These two sister cities share a love for world-class architecture, the culinary arts, their bridges and urban rivers. The Waldorf provided a warm, intimate, luxurious vibe, with attentive service and delicious food in the heart of downtown Chicago.
We feel fortunate to live and work in the beautiful, Chicago neighborhood of Logan Square, among many talented artists and entrepreneurs. We believe in the beauty of blending historic with modern. Built in 1916, our European style live-work building, is land-marked by the city of Chicago, full of character and modern style. It is a dream come true to have a charming studio, surrounded by beautiful boulevards, as the foundation of our creative endeavors.
"It is a pleasure to get to know our couples, become part of their inner circle, understand their connections, and hone in on what matters most. Every celebration has its own personality, vibe and feeling. To interpret and translate the feeling, love and joy, we look for the split-second glances, tender touches, belly laughs and genuine smiles. Emotionally connected, we sense magical moments; one must first feel, and then see to be able to interpret. This is the foundation of our creative process."
"Inspired by all art forms: paintings, architecture, fashion, cinema, music and food, we incorporate our sensibilities into everything we do. Blending emotional imagery with a modern and elegant viewpoint is how we tell very personal stories in a nuanced way. We do this so that you may savor your celebration, long after it ends, and remember those feelings forever. It would be our privilege to interpret your unique story."Heather KingenSmith ×
