Strong Chicago ties, a beautiful ceremony at Holy Name Cathedral, and sophisticated fun at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Lauren and Luke were excited to celebrate their wedding with family and friends in their Sweet Home Chicago. In order to make their wedding more intimate, they invited a close family friend to preside over the ceremony.
The bridal party enjoyed the gorgeous weather down by the Old Water Tower and Michigan Avenue on the way to their reception. To ensure that their guests had a great time, the couple shared some of their favorite cocktails. Upon arrival guests were delighted to find a spectacular, handcrafted ice sculpture of the Chicago skyline that kept the vodka chilled.
Lauren and Luke surprised their friends and family with an impressively choreographed first dance in the stunning Ritz-Carlton Ballroom. Cagen Music kept the crowd entertained and on their feet all night. Lauren shared her love of candy with children and adults alike with a delicious candy buffet. After an unforgettable evening of dinner and dancing, coordinated by Jennifer Anderson and Associates, the couple surprised everyone again. The guests were treated to an after party that resembled the iconic Cheers Bar full of fun foods, drinks and dancing. Lauren and Luke celebrated their special day in true Chicago style!
